Sniper rifles & mine-resistant Limousines for Ivanka security

HYDERABAD: Expert marksmen from Telangana's elite Greyhound
(anti-naxalite force) and Octopus (anti-terror) commando teams will be
positioned at vantage
points for the security of Ivanka Trump+
and Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), Falaknuma Palace and Miyapur for both the Global Entrepreneurship Summit (GES) and metro rail inauguration.
The commandos will be armed with Russian-made Dragunov sniper rifles. The rifle with optical sight and night vision is a sniper's standard weapon designed to destroy single targets.
Telangana police commandos are already equipped with Dargunov sniper rifles and have been using them during public meetings of the Prime Minister and chief minister.
Among other security arrangements, three bulletproof and mine-resistant Limousines are being flown into India from the United States by the US Secret Services for the security of Ivanka Trump as she would be travelling by road.
